Important Public meeting to discuss proposed plans to replace the Grace Court Park Wall
Representatives from the Winston-Salem Department of Recreation and Parks and Council member Jeff MacIntosh will be at the next meeting of the West End Association to discuss the Proposed Plans (PDF LINK) for replacement of the brick wall bordering the North end of Grace Court Park.
Our meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, July 25, at 6:00 PM in the West End Room of the William White YMCA. The West End Room is just inside the entrance located on the back side of the YMCA close to the intersection of West End Blvd and Glade St. There is a small parking lot there adjacent to the entrance to the YMCA office area.
The West End Association formally recommended that the City hire an independent landscape architect to create a plan for replacement of the brick wall that was removed from Grace Court Park earlier in 2017. The recommendation was to replace the wall with an appropriate hedge and curbing to restore the site. The city selected Jordan Consultants to do the design improvements.
