Join The West End Neighborhood Association

Join the West End Association and help sustain and improve our historic, beautiful neighborhood. Membership is $20 per year for families and $80 per year for local businesses. Your membership will help support the newsletter and other activities of the West End Association:

• Represents residents of the West End to protect the continued health and well-being of the neighborhood as a vibrant downtown housing option.
• Produces and delivers a monthly newsletter with timely information about neighborhood concerns and upcoming events as well as advertisements from local businesses and service providers.
• Sponsors neighborhood concerts, social events, meetings, and civic presentations.
• Maintains and improve parks and public services in the area.
• Encourages participation in the conservation and rehabilitation of the neighborhood’s historic homes and buildings.
• Acts as a liaison between the neighborhood and businesses affecting the residential character of the area.
• Advocates for cooperative planning between residents, developers, city planners and other city departments such as the Historic Resources Commission, the Department of Transportation, and Parks and Recreation.

Business Membership, $80 per year

Local West End business members are eligible for one business card-sized ad in each issue of our newsletter, The West Ender,  if space is available. The newsletter is published about 6 times per year and distributed to approximately 1000 addresses in the historic district. Business members are also acknowledged on our web site, HistoricWestEnd.org. You can pay by mail or online using PayPal (link below). Be sure to click on the text that appears in the Pay Now box to choose the “West Ender Advertising $80.00” that will drop down.
